CUREPTO

In the 7^th region of Chile lies Curepto, a town of about 10,000 people. Juan Mihovilovic Hernandez, born in Punta Arenas, in 1951, and a lawyer by trade, is a Chilean writer of Croatian origin who lives and works there. He is the winner of numerous, significant prizes for poetry, novels, and short stories, and his works have even been translated to Croatian. There is a street in Curepto named after him, called Calle Juan Mihovilovic Hernandez.
